Many international schools request that tutors refrain from giving out homework as the students are often overwhelmed with their current school load. That being said, there may be circumstances when a tutor feels it is appropriate to give a minimal amount of work to be completed outside of class time. If a parent feels strongly about work being assigned or not being assigned, it is important that this information be shared with the tutor in the communication log, or with the office prior to the start of lessons.
