My child is failing. Can you help him? |

In the ideal scenario, students would not wait until the point of failing to seek help, but we do realize this happens and tutors are prepared to make every effort to save a failing grade. That being said, it is likely that a failing student will need a minimum of 3 lessons per week of support to ensure that home and class work is properly completed and that tests and quizzes are passed. If students are not able to commit to that number of hours under those circumstances, then it is unlikely that a tutor will be successful in helping the student to pass his course. If a student is failing in more than one subject, the number of hours required will certainly be greater. In cases like this, parents are strongly advised to meet with the Director to organize a plan of action. It is also very important to have the contact details of the student's classroom teachers and/or counselors in order to better assess the student's needs and his subsequent progress. back to the FAQ
