There are currently 8 full-time tutors at The Learning Center and they are shared between the mathematics, science and language arts departments. If a tutor is absent, his class will be substituted by another qualified tutor. In the rare event that a tutor is not available, the parent will be informed immediately and a make-up class will be arranged as soon as the tutor is available again.

If the center is able to arrange a qualified substitute for the class, it is expected that the student attend that class regardless of the regular tutor's absence. If the student does not attend, the class will be considered as a missed class. If the center is informed at least three hours in advance, the student may be eligible for a credit or a packet; however, without this notice the class will be deemed missed without notice.
