Choosing the right workshop for your child is important, and there are many things to consider. Is your child looking for a short course in a specific area, or a general ESOL course? How many hours a week would you like your child to attend? Scheduling also needs to be considered.

In order to place students in the class most suitable for their ESOL needs, TLC requires all students to be assessed and interviewed at The Learning Center. Once completed, the interview and assessment will enable TLC to provide you with recommendations for workshops suitable for your child.

Students interested in grade-specific classes may join at their grade level without assessment unless significant delays or English difficulties are suspected.

On rare occasions, a student may be asked to move from a class he or she finds too difficult. In this case, parents will be offered the choice of receiving a refund or transferring to a different class.
