Elementary Language Arts/ESOL Teacher

Joanne hails from England and graduated from University of Arts London with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration and then received her TESOL certification in 2009 She has called Beijing her home coming to work with The Learning Center in the spring of 2009. Coming from a highly creative background, Joanne feels it’s important to make her lessons creative as well as educational. She has worked on various creative and learning support community projects around the UK. Having grown up in a bilingual upbringing herself, Joanne can relate to the children who are present in this international setting.
