Dear Parents,

Thank you for visiting our website! I founded The Learning Center in 2004 after a wonderful 8 years in The International Montessori School of Beijing. It was this experience with students from diverse backgrounds and with unique needs that led me to start The Learning Center.

The international schools have a tremendous job to do and they do it very well. Our job at The Learning Center is to help students go one step further. I have been thrilled to see the success of our students and to hear their excitement when they pass ‘that test’ or make the ‘A’ they were struggling for. I hope that we can bring a smile to your child’s face and bring you, as parents, peace of mind.

Your child has the option of joining a range of academic workshops or studying in an individual tutoring program. If you do decide to follow an individual tutoring program with The Learning Center, you will not find pre-set curricula. You will find tutors who are willing and able to design a program that suits the specific needs and goals you and your child have set. Through discussion, a plan will be created that is as unique as your child. And like any plan, it may change as your child's needs change.
